Luca Cartegni is an Associate Professor of Chemical Biology at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in New Jersey. He is an expert in RNA biology and its role in cancer. His lab specializes in the mechanisms of alternative splicing variants in cancer progression and treatment, and the use of antisense-based technology to modulate the expression of oncogenes splicing variants.
