Dawn Kalmar

Dawn Kalmar is Chief of Corporate Affairs and Strategic Partnerships. In this role, she is responsible for Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, Patient Advocacy & Policy and leadership of Stoke’s strategic partnerships.

Since joining Stoke in 2019, Dawn has been instrumental in shaping the company’s evolution, from its IPO to the development of its first potential new medicine. She brings strategic clarity, disciplined execution, and a long-range perspective that ensures Stoke’s narrative, priorities, and partnerships work together to achieve business objectives.

Through her career, Dawn has contributed to the development and launch of multiple first-in-class and breakthrough medicines in oncology, immunology, ophthalmology, virology, and rare genetic diseases. She has also helped organizations navigate periods of rapid innovation and growth, first at Genentech and later at Vertex, as these companies established their industry leadership.

Dawn holds a B.S. in Journalism from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
